He received his Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University, Athens in 1983. PhD, in Chemical Engineering, Princeton University, 1990. Industrial experience (Metelco, Greece, 1983-4 and Mobil R&amp;D, USA, 1990-2). Visiting Professorships at the University of Delaware, KITP, ESPCI, ETH Zurich, DTU, INSA, Univ. catholique Louvain.
