Theodoros H. Tosounidis is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Head of Orthopaedic Trauma at University Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI), Crete, Greece. Theo Tosounidis is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and specializes in Pelvic and Acetabular Surgery, Complex Orthopaedic Trauma (Periarticular fractures of the lower extremity, nonunions, malunions, polytrauma) and Hip Arthroplasty. He has worked for many years as a Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon at the Major Trauma Centre of Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds, UK. He completed an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the Foothills Medical Center at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and a Lower Limb Reconstruction/Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at St Michael’s Hospital at the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He also completed a clinical fellowship at Complex Primary and Revision Hip Arthroplasty at Endoclinik, Hamburg Germany. His is involved in
numerus educational activities both in Greece and internationally. His research is focused mainly in Orthopaedic Trauma.
