Short bio

George Notas, M.D. Ph.D. is a graduate of the University of Crete School of Medicine (1999). He is an Internist and a faculty member since 2011 (currently Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine). Dr. Notas has extensive experience in basic and clinical research and is a collaborating member of FORTH in Digital Transformation Research Projects. He has participated in several National and EU-funded research projects and works as an expert in EU funding allocation. He is the Vice president of the Hellenic Society of Emergency Medicine since 2022 and a member of the scientific board of the Greek EMS (ΕΚΑΒ). Dr. Notas has worked as a medical expert in several elder abuse cases.
