Short bio

Kleio Evangelia Fragkouli, MD, MSc, PhD, is a certified Forensic Pathologist in Greece and an Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at the University of Ioannina, Greece. She completed her medical studies (2002) in the University of Ioannina. She was trained in Pathology from 2006 to 2007 at the Children’s Hospital Agia Sophia of Athens and from 2008 to 2010 in Forensic Pathology at the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology of the University of Ioannina. In 2009 she completed her PhD at the University of Ioannina. Kleio was awarded a scholarship by Onassis Foundation in 2012 and she holds a Master of Science degree in Forensic Anthropology from the University of Central Lancashire-UK (2013). She worked as a Consultant Forensic Pathologist at the University Hospital of Ioannina (2016-2022). She is the author/co-author of scientific articles mainly in the field of forensic medicine and forensic anthropology. She is a board member of the Hellenic Association of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences.
