Elena Kranioti is an Assistant Professor of Forensic Sciences, in the Medical School of the University of Crete.MD from the school of Medicine (2003) of the University of Crete, Specialty in Forensic Pathology (2007). Marie Curie Fellowship at the Natural History Museum in Madrid (Spain), within the framework of EVAN, a European training network with focus on Virtual Anthropology. Ph.D at the Medical School of the University of Crete (2009). Lecturer in Forensic Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh (UK) since 2010 and promoted as Reader in 2019.Her research focuses on developing new methods and applications of Medical Imaging and Virtual tools in Forensic Anthropology and Pathology.
