Georgios C. Manikis

Dr. Georgios C. Manikis is a collaborating researcher at the Computational BioMedicine Laboratory (CBML) of Institute of Computer Science at Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH). He is also affiliated with the department of Oncology-Pathology at the Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. He holds an MSc in Electronics and Computer Engineering and a PhD from the School of Medicine at the University of Crete. He has been working on various EU projects and his research interests lie in the areas of medical image analysis, radiomics, machine and deep learning, and multimodal data integration. He has published more than 100 papers in peer reviewed international journals, book chapters and international conferences (14/02/24: h-index 14, citations: 832).
